WHAT IS ATF?
Athletes They Fear (ATF) is a registered 501(c)(3) organization based on the Southside of Chicago. We are committed to the growth and development of the next generation of Chicago Athletes. We achieve this through training, resources, knowledge and opportunities that prioritize their growth.
Why?
Every young person needs an enriching environment to
grow. Due to generational systemic oppression, the
environment in most neighborhoods does not offer
enough resources rooted in well-being and holistic wellness.
This prevents young people from experiencing the growth they are
destined for. Despite this, young people are continuing
to find their own solutions to rise above the systemic
issues they experience – even if that requires early
commutes downtown or into the suburbs to learn, play
and grow.

The reality is, their growth should not be a journey they
commute to. It should be embedded in the environment
they experience every day.
ATF is a greenhouse,
planted in the middle of the desert. A controlled
environment, to promote sustainable, constant
growth. An oasis, that meets the hunger and thirst of
young people on the Southside of Chicago.
Now, the next generation of athletes will be equipped
with the knowledge and discipline it takes to dominate in
life and sport.
